Bowling Green hockey rallies to take down Lake Superior State

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich — The Bowling Green State University hockey team rallied to defeat Lake Superior State for the second time in as many nights Saturday, winning by a final of 3-2.

Brayden Crampton’s goal early in the third period proved to be the difference as the Falcons improved to 2-2 on the young season.

BG opened the scoring seven minutes into the game when Rihards Simanovics found the back of the net thanks to assists by Jackson Niedermayer and Jake Sloan.

Lake Superior’s Hunter Ramos tied things up less than four minutes later, and the Lakers took the lead in the second period on a power-play goal by Sasha Teleguine.
