Bowling Green hockey rallies to beat RPI 5-2

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green hockey team erased a two-goal deficit, scoring five unanswered in a 5-2 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Friday night at Slater Family Ice Arena.

Ryan O’Hara scored twice for the Falcons, while Chase Gresock, Nathan Burke, and Taylor Schneider also tallied goals.

Bowling Green fell behind 2-0 just six minutes into the game. RPI got goals from John Evans (2:17 into the game) and Austin Heidemann (6:05).

Gresock answered 14:54 into the opening period on a power play to cut the deficit to 2-1 entering the second period.
