BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team scored twice in the second period and three times in the third on the way to a 5-1 win over Lake Superior State on Friday at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
Coale Norris scored two goals for the Falcons (6-3-2, 4-3-0 CCHA), while Anton Malmstrom, Nathan Burke, and Ethan Scardina also lit the lamp.
Jacob Bengtsson was the lone goal-scorer for Lake Superior State (7-7-1, 3-4-0 CCHA).
Norris opened the scoring for BG with a goal 16:05 into the second period. Malmstrom put the Falcons up 2-0 at the 2nd intermission with a goal 18:59 into the period.
