BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team picked up its first win over Ohio State since the 2018-19 season in a 5-2 triumph on Saturday at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
“I thought it was a lot of fun to be a part of,” BGSU head coach Dennis Williams said. “I know our guys, like anything, whenever we play Ohio State, it’s always an asterisk on the calendar. You play an old CCHA opponent, now a Big Ten opponent, so it was electric in there… the fans were great, the band was great. It’s a very tough venue to play in when we play like that.
