Bowling Green hockey defeated 4-0 at Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON, Mich. — Bowling Green State University allowed three goals in the first period and struggled to find the net in a 4-0 defeat to No. 14 Michigan Tech in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association clash on Friday at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

Bowling Green sustained its fourth loss in a row, and was shut out for the second straight game.

Logan Pietila scored the first goal for the Huskies (18-8-2, 15-5-1 CCHA) 3:39 into the game, with assists to Colin Swoyer and Tommy Parrottino.

Michigan Tech scored its first of two power-play goals later in the period for a 2-0 lead.
