Bowling Green heads to Miami looking to end road woes

BOWLING GREEN — After winning a total of one home game in 2017 and 2018 combined, Bowling Green assured it will finish no worse than .500 at Doyt Perry Stadium this season.

Going away from home, however, has been a drastically different story this year for the Falcons.

Bowling Green has been crushed in each of its four road games, being outscored a whopping 215-30. Though two of the road losses were at Kansas State and Notre Dame — both 52-0 finals — the Falcons haven’t fared much better in the Mid-American Conference by losing 62-20 at Kent State and 49-10 at Western Michigan.
