BOWLING GREEN — Add Bowling Green's football pro day to the growing list of cancelations in the sports world.
On Monday, seven days away from its scheduled showcase for National Football League scouts, Bowling Green called off its pro day due the coronavirus pandemic. The university is on spring break this week and has suspended in-person classes until at least April 6.
Michigan also canceled its pro day, and Ohio State postponed its event as the general public has been advised to avoid travel when possible.
The NFL draft, which is scheduled for next month in Las Vegas, reportedly will go forward but without the fan engagement activities that normally take place.
