Bowling Green State University will be without head coach Scot Loeffler at Mississippi State on Saturday.
The football program announced Friday afternoon that Loeffler will miss the game due to a personal health matter. He’s expected to return to the sideline for next week’s game at Akron.
No further details were released.
BGSU associate head coach and inside linebackers coach Steve Morrison will serve as head coach Saturday and will remain in his usual spot in the booth. It will be his first game as a head coach.
Running backs coach Brian White will serve as game manager on the field.
