BOWLING GREEN — Most of Bowling Green State University’s football team is still learning and gaining experience in-game, and that is OK.
Part of that process, though, is learning how to win and close out close football games.
On Saturday, the Falcons led for 32 minutes and 52 seconds between early in the first quarter and through the early parts of the third quarter. They briefly lost the lead, but regained it at the 9:08 mark of the third quarter and held it for 22 minutes, 29 seconds until South Alabama tied the game with 1:39 to play.
