BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University standout Austen Swankler has been nominated for the 2023 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, which is given annually to the top NCAA men’s hockey player.
Swankler, a sophomore forward, was one of 82 players nominated.
The first phase of fan voting for this year's award runs through Sunday, March 5. After the preliminary round of fan voting, the top 10 nominees will advance through to a second round of voting March 17 to 26. The finalists will be revealed March 30, and the winner will be announced during the Frozen Four on April 7.
