Bowling Green falls to 1-5 on the young season with the loss. Richmond, which has already picked up a ranked win on the season, is 6-0 in 2019.
Richmond plated three runs in the first, and two more in the second to take a 5-0 lead. delivered a bases-clearing double in the fourth, scoring three runs to pull the Falcons within a pair – but a three-run home run in the sixth inched Richmond's lead back to five runs at 8-3.
