BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s Jocelyn Tate and Elissa Brett recorded double-doubles, while Lexi Fleming overcame a first-half knee injury to hit some big 3-pointers in the final two frames, as the Falcons knocked off Kent State 66-57 in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU won its fifth straight game to improve to 16-2 (5-1 MAC), while Kent State fell to 11-6 (3-3 MAC).
Tate tallied 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Brett had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Falcons.
Fleming suffered a right knee injury early in the first quarter and missed the rest of the half.
