BGSU women's basketball comes back to beat Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Bowling Green State University women’s basketball erased a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to knock off Central Michigan on the road Wednesday, opening Mid-American conference play with a 65-64 win.

Paige Kohler had a game-high 28 points to lead the Falcons, who were playing their first game since star guard Lexi Fleming announced she would miss the rest of the season with an injury. BG narrowly avoided defeat against a CMU team that has yet to record a win against Division I opposition this season.

BGSU (7-4, 1-0 MAC) trailed 56-47 after the third quarter but embarked on a 13-4 run to tie the game with 4:46 remaining.
