BOWLING GREEN — With apologies to a handful of Bowling Green State University professors, it’s fair to say that this excused absence will be just a bit more fun than the first week of classes.
Twenty-four BGSU students in the Sport Management Alliance will travel to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII, where they will volunteer in the week-long series of events before the biggest game in American sports.
The group, which sent 32 students to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis last year, spent much of the fall semester raising funds to go back to the Super Bowl again.
