Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University hockey team has been ranked No. 9 in this week's official USCHO poll. This is highest Bowling Green hockey has been ranked since March 16, 2015 when the Falcons were ranked No. 9. The last time BGSU was ranked higher than No. 9 was February 16, 2015 when they were No. 8.
This comes after a week that saw Bowling Green post a record of 2-0-1 against two top 20 opponents. The Falcons completed the sweep of (then No. 19) Western Michigan on Tuesday (Oct. 23) with a 4-1 win over the Broncos.
