Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University hockey team has been ranked No. 17 in this week's official USCHO poll.
This comes after Bowling Green opened the 2018-19 season with a record of 3-1-0. Their wins over this past week included a 6-2 victory over No. 19 (then No. 18) ranked Western Michigan, and a 6-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris in their home opener.
As of this week, a total of seven Bowling Green Falcons are top 20 in the nation in scoring. Brandon Kruse and Max Johnson are both tied for first place with eight points apiece.
