BGSU PFF grades: Passing solid, run blocking poor in win vs. Ball State

Each week, The Blade will recap the most interesting Bowling Green State University football grades released by Pro Football Focus, the scouting website that evaluates players’ performance on every play of every game. For context, grades are based on a 0-100 scale.

Pass (86.4): BGSU posted its best passing grade of the season in Wednesday’s 24-21 Mid-American Conference victory over Ball State. Camden Orth (90.4) and Connor Bazelak (83.6) had the two highest offensive grades for the Falcons, and both were season highs for the quarterbacks. Bazelak completed 13 of 21 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns, while Orth completed both of his passes for 49 yards.
