BGSU PFF grades: Pass coverage, blocking strong in MAC win at Buffalo

Each week, The Blade will recap the most interesting Bowling Green State University football grades released by Pro Football Focus, the scouting website that evaluates players’ performance on every play of every game. For context, grades are based on a 0-100 scale.

Pass coverage (90.8): A season-high four interceptions snatched by BGSU’s defense in a 24-14 win at Buffalo helped the Falcons post its best defensive coverage against receivers grade of the season by a wide margin. BGSU’s previous best was 77.1 against Michigan. The Falcons forced Buffalo quarterbacks Cole Snyder and C.J. Ogbonna to a combined 9 of 29 passing for 71 yards, one touchdown, and four picks.
