BOWLING GREEN — Before bringing any football players back to campus, the big move was Bowling Green's first order of business.
Whether football is played in 2020 remains to be seen, but BGSU underwent major changes just to restart the offseason.
Piece-by-piece, trip-by-trip, Bowling Green moved its entire weight room in the Sebo Center about half a mile down Stadium Drive and across Mercer Road to Perry Fieldhouse, a makeshift new space that allows for significantly more room between workout stations.
The effort took moving an estimated 40,000 pounds of equipment by pallets, a forklift, and a box truck — which took four full days of work from multiple departments — for everything to be disassembled in one location and reassembled in another.
