BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team used a second-half surge to put away Le Moyne, winning 83-60 on Sunday at the Stroh Center.
BGSU, which improved to 3-0 on the season with the win, outscored the visiting Dolphins 46-24 after halftime.
The Falcons clung to a 37-36 edge heading into the break, but they were slowly able to build their lead. A Javontae Campbell 3-pointer followed by two Josiah Shackelford free throws gave BGSU a double-digit advantage at 52-41 with 15:41 remaining.
Le Moyne (1-2) had a hard time making headway once Bowling Green created separation.
