BGSU hockey completes home sweep of Ferris State

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University hockey team had its offense rolling for a second straight night, resulting in a 5-2 home victory Saturday over Ferris State at Slater Family Ice Arena.

On Friday the Falcons tallied nine goals in a 9-5 win over the Bulldogs, and were able to finish off the sweep of the two-game set with ease.

BGSU (4-3-3) scored three first-period goals past the midway point of the frame for a comfortable cushion, two of which came from Jaden Grant.

Noah Morneau, who recorded a hat trick on Friday, found the back of the net 10:25 into the game to make it 1-0.
