Baltimore, Md. - Bowling Green State University Athletics Hall of Fame member Chuck Winters was recently inducted into the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Hall of Fame in a ceremony held on Dec. 6.
Winters was a 1969 Bowling Green graduate and a 2004 BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame inductee. He was also inducted into the Ohio Lacrosse Association Hall of Fame in 2000 and received the Lifetime Service Award from USILA in 2007.
A three-year letterwinner at BGSU, Winters originally came to Bowling Green to play football. He had 17 goals as a senior and was an honorable mention All-American as the Falcons went 11-1.
