BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s football program has had a fair number of players test the waters of the NCAA transfer portal in the past month.
Falcons’ coach Scot Loeffler has no hard feelings toward the players who left the program.
Loeffler, who is entering his fifth season leading the Falcons, said he is hoping for continued success for the BGSU players who entered the portal, but he is focused on bettering those who will be wearing the orange and brown jerseys this year.
“Especially with last year’s team, the guys that put themselves in the transfer portal, there wasn’t one guy leaving Bowling Green because he didn’t like the coaches, he didn’t believe in the program.
