BOWLING GREEN — The devil is in the details for Bowling Green State University football.
The Falcons had every shot at winning Saturday’s game against South Alabama, but crucial miscues at the most inopportune times cost the team its first win since Nov. 2019.
With a winnable home matchup against Football Championship Series opponent Murray State to look ahead to at 5 p.m. Saturday, Falcons head coach Scot Loeffler noted the installments made in practices leading up to the South Alabama game did not exactly show up on the field.
“I thought last week we finally did practice well,” Loeffler noted at his weekly press conference Monday.
