BOWLING GREEN — The 2025 season for Bowling Green State University’s football team is right around the corner.
In a little more than one month, the Falcons will kick off the Eddie George era with a weekday contest against Lafayette at Doyt Perry Stadium. The former Heisman Trophy-winning running back at Ohio State and All-Pro in the NFL will be looking to take a program on the rise to even greater heights.
BGSU is coming off back-to-back 7-6 seasons and three straight bowl appearances under former coach Scot Loeffler, who left the program in late February to take over as the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterbacks coach.
