BGSU fires co-offensive coordinator Partridge

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University fired co-offensive coordinator Travis Partridge, the school announced Monday afternoon.

Partridge, who also was BGSU’s passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, was in his first season with the Falcons’ football program after following first-year head coach Eddie George from Tennessee State. Co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Greg Nosal will take over play calling duties for the Falcons.

“Unfortunately, our offensive performance is not achieving expectations,” George said in a news release. “We want to thank Travis for his contributions to the Bowling Green program.”

The Falcons (3-6, 1-3 Mid-American Conference) is coming off their worst offensive performance of the season in a 28-3 loss to Buffalo on Saturday at Doyt Perry Stadium.
