BGSU drops third straight game, struggles offensively in MAC football loss to Buffalo

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University couldn’t get anything going offensively in a 28-3 Mid-American Conference loss to Buffalo on Saturday at Doyt Perry Stadium.

BGSU suffered its third straight loss to fall to 3-6 (1-4 MAC). Buffalo improved to 5-4 (4-1 MAC).

The Falcons were held to a season-low 216 total yards and had two turnovers. In eight possessions in the opening 30 minutes, BGSU had three turnovers on downs, three three-and-outs, a lost fumble, and a knee to end the half.

BGSU’s lone score came with 8:33 left when Jackson Kleather connected on a 51-yard field goal into the wind.
