After committing eight turnovers in the opening frame, No. 2-seed BGSU outscored No. 7 Eastern Michigan 21-2 in the second quarter en route to cruising past the Eagles 70-36 in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball tournament quarterfinal at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The Falcons (26-5) held the Eagles (15-15) to a season-low scoring output. The 36 points were the second fewest BGSU has allowed this season (29 vs.
