BOWLING GREEN — Both of Bowling Green State University's marquee men's basketball road games for the 2020-21 season contain contract language that could absolve both parties from playing the games in a pandemic.
The Falcons scheduled away games at West Virginia and Georgia for back-to-back weeks in November, though both would be in doubt if fall semesters are impacted because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the United States.
The two contracts, obtained through a public records request, add up to $187,000 in guarantees for Bowling Green, which already saw two of its nonconference football games totaling $2.
