YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team defeated Eastern Michigan 75-71 in overtime at EMU’s Convocation Center Saturday.
Antwon Lillard and Demajeo Wiggins each posted double-doubles for the Falcons (10-5, 1-1 Mid-American Conference). Lillard had 20 points and 12 rebounds while Wiggins, a Springfield High School product, added 15 points and 11 boards.
Anthony Wayne High School graduate Matt Fox hit six 3-pointers for 18 points, while Justin Turner added 15.
Paul Jackson scored 21 points to lead four in double figures for Eastern Michigan (9-6, 0-2 MAC). Tim Bond scored 16 points, Elijah Minnie had 15 while James Thompson added 14 points and 14 rebounds.
