BG hockey downs Bemidji State

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Three different players scored goals Friday as the Bowling Green State University ice hockey team beat Bemidji State 3-1 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association play at the Sanford Center.

The Falcons (20-8-4, 15-7-3-2 WCHA), who are ranked No. 15 in this week’s USCHO.com Division I poll and No. 16 in the Pairwise rankings, got goals from Max Johnson, Will Cullen, and Stephen Baylis.

The Beavers (15-13-5, 13-9-3-2) got a goal from Alex Ierullo.

Ryan Bednard finished with 20 saves to improve to 15-5-3 for Bowling Green. Zach Driscoll stopped 19 shots in falling to 10-7-3 for Bemidji State.
