HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team defeated Northern Kentucky 63-49 Thursday behind the efforts of four double-digit scorers, moving the Falcons to 2-0 on the young season.
Lexi Fleming led the BGSU charge with 13 points. She added four rebounds and three steals. Kenzie Lewis and Kadie Hempfling each posted 12 points, with Lewis gathering a team-high six rebounds. Madisen Parker contributed 10 points off the bench on 3 of 5 shooting.
Northern Kentucky’s Lindsey Duvall posted a double-double of 10 points and 14 rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench.
