The Bobcats fell to 1-1 struggled to throw the football on a cold southeast Ohio night, with quarterback Kurtis Rourke completing 8 of 14 passes for just 92 yards, but De’Montre Tuggle picked up the slack, running for 13 yards on 22 carries and punching in two scores. Akron only trailed 17-10 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough for the Zips, who fell to 0-2 with the loss.
