BOWLING GREEN — If you’re trying to operate in the paint against Bowling Green State University, good luck.
You’ll likely encounter Daeqwon Plowden or Joe Reece or both.
Bowling Green’s forwards anchor a team which is suited for controlling the inside, and the play of the two going inside to out offensively and defensively provides versatility for Falcons coach Michael Huger.
Plowden was the constant for BGSU entering the season, but the emergence of the junior Old Dominion transfer Reece has added another layer and dimension to the team.
“You watch the basketball and how he plays, and you saw that he can help us,” Huger said of Reece.
