BOWLING GREEN — Unfortunately for Bowling Green, its second game of the season wasn't quite like the first — mostly because it was even worse.
The Falcons were thumped 62-24 by visiting Kent State, which again did whatever it wanted on offense, turned the game into a blowout by halftime, and scored 60-plus points on BG for the second straight season.
Four observations from the game:
1. A winless season is very much on the table
Bowling Green plays only a half season this year because of coronavirus restrictions, and with only Mid-American Conference games on the docket, it's looking quite possible that BG could finish 0-6.
