Cleveland, Ohio - For the fourth time this year, Bowling Green State University redshirt senior Aliyah Gustafson has been named the Mid-American Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Gustafson has won the award in three of the last four weeks.
Gustafson swept both the shot put and the weight throw at the Doug Raymond Invitational, hosted by Kent State. It is the second consecutive week in which she has won both events. In the shot put, Gustafson threw 54-feet-1 (16.48m), which is more than a foot further than any other MAC thrower has tossed the shot put this year, and tied for 10th best in program history.
