BOWLING GREEN – The Bowling Green State University hockey team saw three players earn Western Collegiate Hockey Association honors Wednesday.
Sophomore forward Lukas Craggs was named WCHA offensive player of the week, sophomore defenseman Alec Rauhauser was selected as the league’s defensive player of the week, and freshman goaltender Eric Dop was named WCHA rookie of the week.
All three players were named to the all-tournament team of the Great Lakes Invitational, which saw the Falcons defeat Michigan on Monday and Michigan Tech on Tuesday to win the title for the first time.
Craggs was named GLI most valuable player thanks to two goals and three assists, the highest total in the tournament.
