West Brom deliver big blow to Bournemouth's title hopes after two quickfire first-half goals from Alex Mowatt and Andy Carroll leave Scott Parker's Cherries side 11 point adrift of league leaders Fulham

West Brom have dealt a big blow to Bournemouth's title hopes after Steve Bruce's men scored two early quickfire goals to leave the Cherries 11 points adrift of Championship leaders Fulham.

The Baggies stormed into an early 2-0 lead inside 15 minutes when two quickfire goals from Alex Mowatt and Andy Carroll put Steve Bruce's side in complete control.

For the first goal, the Cherries failed to clear their lines with Mowatt picking up the ball on the edge of the box before accurately picking out the far bottom corner with a superb strike.
