Troy Deeney slammed in two penalties to hand Watford a crucial victory in their fight against relegation, coming from behind to beat Newcastle 2-1.

The Hornets are now six points clear of the drop zone ahead of 17th placed Bournemouth's clash with Leicester on Sunday.

Newcastle took the lead after 23 minutes through Dwight Gayle before the hosts mounted their comeback, with Troy Deeney smacking spot-kicks past Martin Dubravka in the 52nd and 82nd minute.
