USA captain Tyler Adams could need his SECOND hamstring surgery of 2023 after suffering 'setback' in Carabao Cup clash... with Bournemouth saying they 'don't expect him soon with us'

Things are not looking good for United States captain and Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams - who may be facing the possibility of his second hamstring surgery of 2023.

Adams arrived at Bournemouth from Leeds after a season that ended prematurely with a hamstring issue.

The holding midfielder got surgery on his leg at the end of March and was out until finally making his debut for his new club in a September 27 match against Stoke City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Adams was brought on in the 70th minute and played the rest of the match - which will likely be the last one we see out of him until 2024 after he suffered what the club called a 'setback'.
