BOURNEMOUTH, England -- Three points on Tottenham's 0-0 draw at Bournemouth as Spurs failed to take their chances in the Premier League.
1. Tottenham miss their chance
If Tottenham have ambitions of finishing the season as the best team in the Premier League, at some point they will need to top the table. Spurs challenged for the title last season but they trailed Leicester City from the opening day, and twice missed opportunities to leapfrog the Foxes, albeit temporarily.
On Thursday, Mauricio Pochettino said the chance to go top was a "big motivation" for Spurs but for the second Premier League match running, they blew it.
