The Premier League is back up and running after pausing for the World Cup, and we are already almost halfway through the season.

With most teams having played 18 matches, the league table has taken shape, and we now have a good idea of what is left to play for as we move into the opening months of 2023.

In the bottom half of the table, we have newly-promoted Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth hovering just above the relegation zone as they look to avoid dropping straight back down to the Championship, while Everton are having another disappointing season after just about surviving the dreaded drop last term.
