Southampton 0-0 Bournemouth: Harry Arter blazes over from the penalty spot in a dull clash on the south coast as Saints fail to impress

Harry Arter blazed over the bar from the penalty spot as Bournemouth squandered a great chance to beat Southampton on the south coast.

Arter was presented with a glorious opportunity with just over 10 minutes remaining when Ryan Fraser was brought down by Ryan Bertrand.

The midfielder stepped up to the spot but lost his footing and blazed over goalkeeper Fraser Forster's bar.
