Sheffield United have officially confirmed the departure of boss Chris Wilder after a memorable five-year spell in charge.
Sportsmail has reported that tensions between Wilder and the club's hierarchy led to their working relationship reaching breaking point - and the 53-year-old was locked in severance talks on Friday.
His exit from the Premier League's basement team was made official today.

Wilder's parting of the ways with his boyhood club became inevitable after a series of rows with the board over recruitment and the state of the training ground.
As recently as last week, Wilder handed four conditions to his superiors that he insisted had to be met in order for him to continue into next season.
