Preston 1-1 Fulham: Marco Silva's side drop two points in their promotion chase after Ched Evans' controversial equaliser for the hosts

Championship leaders Fulham dropped two points in their race for promotion to the Premier League after a 1-1 draw against Preston at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.

Cottagers defender Tim Ream gave the visitors the lead after 15 minutes, turning in Jean Michael Seri's ball in from close range.

But substitute striker Ched Evans bundled the ball home from Ben Whiteman's corner despite Fulham appeals for handball, meaning second-placed Bournemouth can overtake Marco Silva's side with a win at home against Coventry on Saturday.
