Paul Tierney and Jurgen Klopp will renew their acquaintance for the first time since their controversial spat in 4-3 thriller last season on Saturday when the official makes up part of the refereeing team for the Premier League clash.
Tierney will be in the VAR hotseat for the clash, assisted by Constantine Hatzidakis - who was seen seemingly elbowing Andy Robertson in the face during a 2-2 draw with Arsenal last season.
Thomas Bramall will be out in the middle at Anfield, assisted by Simon Bennett and Dan Robathan.
