Nuno Espirito Santo warns his Nottingham Forest side that the current squad is too big for his liking... as the former Tottenham manager speaks as new Tricky Trees boss for the first time

Nuno Espirito Santo has placed his Nottingham Forest stars immediately on notice by saying their current squad is too big for his liking.

The Portuguese has signed a deal until June 2026, worth about £5million per season, to replace the sacked Steve Cooper and his first task will be to improve a run of one win from 13 games, starting at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Nuno did not talk explicitly about his plans for January but it is clear he wishes to reduce the size of the playing group.
