Man United receive huge boost as two of their three Africa Cup of Nations stars are given green light to face Bournemouth

Manchester United were able to reach an eleventh-hour agreement to have Africa Cup of Nations pair Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo involved against Bournemouth tonight.

The status of Morocco's Noussair Mazraoui is unknown but it is thought he will not be permitted by his national federation to feature for the Red Devils. United, however, were successful in reaching an agreement to keep Amad and Mbeumo.

United had been involved in lengthy dialogue with the respective national federations of Ivory Coast, Morocco and Cameroon and those discussions were still ongoing as of Friday afternoon when head coach Ruben Amorim was quizzed by reporters about the trio's availability for Monday.
