Jack Wilshere remains on the search for a new club but will not be able to play in Serie B because of his non-EU passport, it has been revealed.
Former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Wilshere left Bournemouth at the end of last season, spending just a few months there, and is currently training with Como.
But he has been dealt a blow in his bid to find a new home with issues over his documentation preventing him from taking up a new second-tier challenge.
A tweet from the official Serie B Twitter account, released on deadline day, translates as: 'Jack Wilshere is training with Como 1907 by Jack Gattuso in these hours.
