'It is scary and worrying': Aaron Ramsdale speaks out after contracting coronavirus with the goalkeeper one of two Bournemouth players to have tested positive for the disease

Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has spoken out after contracting the coronavirus.

The England Under 21s international tested positive of Friday after training but is asymptomatic.

The 22-year-old initially tested negative for the virus last Monday but has since contracted COVID-19 in between tests, with the player believing he caught it while shopping at the supermarket.

Ramsdale told The Sun: 'It's definitely a shock — I've not been in contact with anybody and I've now got it.

'I'm showing no symptoms so the fact that a healthy young person could potentially have it is definitely scary and worrying.
